About Greg
Greg is a professional writer and speaker who has walked the 1000 miles | 1,600 kilometres of the NSW coast (Dreamtime to Eden) and is currently documenting every metre of Sydney Harbour's foreshore (Warrane Wanderings).
He is insightful, reflective and quirky. He builds on his experiences wandering the beaches, headlands, and harbour shores of NSW to speak and write on the themes of challenge, risk, wisdom, wonder and fulfilment.

Greg sauntered along the NSW coast - every beach and every headland. He completed the walk in August 2025. He publishes each stage in Bushwalk magazine https://bushwalk.com/magazine see articles . He is also writing a book promoting this unique 'coastal Camino' - ideal for those who worship the 1000 miles and 1000 beaches of the mighty NSW coast.
His work, featured in Bushwalk Magazine, Australian Hiker, The Leader, Sydney Morning Herald, Melbourne Age, Go Abroad, Borneo Bulletin, Brunei Times and other publications, blends immersive travel writing with practical insight, historical trivia, linguistic curiosity, philosophical reflection, and personal narrative.
Greg grew up in Sydney but lived for many years in SE Asia. He has now returned home and loves exploring Australia’s magnificent bushwalks, parks, coasts, and waterways. When he’s not writing, speaking, bushwalking or mountain bike-riding, he works in education for Deloitte Australia and Ecctis UK.
